Exporting selections from six years of email

Short answer: If you've let the paperwork slide for years, many of the receipts and invoices may still be in your inboxes. On Pro, BillyBox can fetch your full history, read details from the documents it finds, and export the business ones by period.

What the records show for one customer

One customer connected several Gmail inboxes and fetched about six years of mail.

• On the first two days, they created several business-only exports, each covering a range of months. Three of them were 24-month requests.
• On three dates that week, more than a thousand documents were marked business, personal or ignore. Some marking happened after the exports.

A few documents are still unmarked. You don't need to finish before you export.

How to work through years of email

1. Connect every inbox your business mail has gone to. Pro allows up to 10.
2. Fetch your history. Pro covers any month still in your inbox.
3. Mark documents with B, P or I, one by one or several at once. You can search across all months.
4. Export by period. Select a range of months and Business, and download a ZIP for that range. You can export again for another range.

Good to know

• Some old links in old emails may no longer work. If a bill only existed behind a link, BillyBox may keep a PDF of the email instead.
• Some providers delete old mail. BillyBox can only fetch what is still in the inbox.
• What your accountant or tax office needs for past years is their call. Ask them first.
