How to download your Google Ads invoice

Google Ads keeps your statements and invoices under Billing › Documents, and a receipt for each payment under Billing › Summary. Unless your account is on monthly invoicing, Google doesn’t email them, so you download them from Google Ads.
Download Google Ads documents by hand
Open Billing › Documents
Sign in to Google Ads, click the Billing icon and choose Documents. Some accounts first need to choose Tax and statutory documents in the bar at the top.
Download the statements or invoices
Tick the box next to each document you want, or the box at the top of the table for all of them, then choose Download selected. The files download as PDFs.
Get a receipt for a payment
Go to Billing › Summary, scroll to the month, open its card and scroll to Payments. Select the payment: the receipt opens in a new window or tab, where you can print it or save it.
On monthly invoicing
Sign in to the paying manager account (or a manager account above it), open Billing › Documents and find the invoice in the list. Then choose Download selected.
- A month’s statement or invoice is available from the fifth business day of the following month. The current month’s documents appear only after the month ends.
- Some accounts see Billing › Transactions instead: there, open the Documents drop-down for the month and choose the monthly invoice.
- An issued statement can’t be edited. Since 2022, some invoices can be regenerated after a cosmetic change such as the name or address; details like the VAT number can’t be changed retroactively.
What arrives by email
Google says it doesn’t post or email statements or invoices for postpay and prepay accounts, which is most advertisers. Accounts on monthly invoicing do get their invoice by email, once the email address is verified.
