How to download your Meta ads receipts

Meta issues a receipt for each ad charge, covering Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Audience Network. You download receipts in Billing & payments › Payment activity, one at a time or all transactions in a date range as a single PDF.
Download Meta ads receipts by hand
Open Billing & payments
On a computer, go to Billing & payments. If you have access to several ad accounts, choose the ad account under Accounts.
Open Payment activity
Click Payment activity in the left menu and choose the date range in the date drop-down.
Download one receipt
Find the transaction and click Download in the Action column.
Or download them all
Open the Download drop-down and choose Download all transactions (PDF) for one receipt covering every transaction in the range. Download report (PDF or CSV) gives you the billing report instead.
- Downloading receipts only works on desktop. In a business portfolio you need full control of the ad account; where permissions are managed in Ads Manager, you need admin permissions.
- To find a single charge from your card statement, click Reference number in Payment activity, enter the reference number from the statement and click Search.
- Changes to your name, email address or bill-to address apply only to future receipts.
What arrives by email
Meta’s help pages describe receipts in Billing & payments; they don’t say a copy is emailed for each charge. If Meta’s billing emails reach your inbox, BillyBox picks them up there.

Can I download all my Meta ads receipts at once?
Yes. In Billing & payments › Payment activity, choose the date range, then Download › Download all transactions (PDF). You get one receipt for every transaction in that range.
Why can’t I download a Meta ads receipt?
Downloading receipts only works on desktop, and you need full control of the ad account (in a business portfolio) or admin permissions (in Ads Manager).
How do I find the receipt for a charge on my card statement?
In Payment activity, click Reference number, enter the reference number from your card statement and click Search. Then click Download next to the charge.
Why do the clicks on my receipt differ from Ads Manager?
Meta notes that the clicks or impressions you are charged for, shown on the receipt, can differ from the totals shown in Ads Manager.
